The amendment is as follows: (Purpose: To provide for the closure of Umatilla Army Chemical Depot, Oregon) On page 84, between lines 5 and 6, insert the following: Sec. 127. (a) Closure of Umatilla Army Chemical Depot, Oregon.--The closure of the Umatilla Army Chemical Depot, Oregon, and subsequent management and property disposal, may be carried out in accordance with procedures and authorities contained in the Defense Base Closure and Realignment Act of 1990 (part A of title XXIX of Public Law 101-510; 10 U.S.C. 2687 note). (b) Retention of Property and Facilities.--The Secretary of the Army may retain minimum essential ranges, facilities, and training areas at Umatilla Army Chemical Depot, totaling approximately 7,500 acres, as a training enclave for the reserve components of the Armed Forces to permit the conduct of individual and annual training.…
