The amendments are as follows: amendment no. 1160 (Purpose: To provide for the closure of Umatilla Army Chemical Depot, Oregon) At the end of title XXVII, add the following: SEC. 2705. CLOSURE OF UMATILLA CHEMICAL DEPOT, OREGON. (a) In General.--Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the Secretary of the Army shall close Umatilla Chemical Depot, Oregon, not later than one year after the completion of the chemical demilitarization mission in accordance with the Chemical Weapons Convention Treaty. (b) BRAC Procedures and Authorities.--The closure of the Umatilla Chemical Depot, Oregon, and subsequent management and property disposal shall be carried out in accordance with procedures and authorities contained in the Defense Base Closure and Realignment Act of 1990 (part A of title XXIX of Public Law 101-510; 10 U.S.C. 2687 note). (c) Compliance With Environmental Laws.--Nothing in this section shall be construed to affect or limit the application of, or any obligation to comply with, any environmental law, including the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act of 1980 (42 U.S.C.…
