There are other examples of how Mr. Clayton is willing to say anything in defense of Donald Trump’s corruption and abuses.
Each person whose information was inappropriately disclosed is entitled to know what happened to it, and Congress is entitled to know how a federal agency came to violate the same court order three times in six months.
This whole mess came out in a court hearing last week where, not only did the judge criticize the government’s attorneys, the government itself acknowledged its numerous errors and mistakes before eventually withdrawing the subpoenas.
I'm gratified the work to secure the end of this needless confusion for these hardworking Oregonians is in the bill.
