So if we had a, actually, applied working group that drilled down into each center and came up with higher numbers, why do we even bother with the mathematical algorithm that popped out of the finance department with the target minimum headcount?

I think we can be very proud of what we have accomplished, and in good part, generated by this committee.
This was purposely done so federal funding would be directed to frontline workers for our pay and benefits and to prevent growing inequality.
This has always been a bipartisan issue, and we should be able to make more progress.
