As long as our market is very open to the Chinese, and as long as they can pay wages that are much lower than ours and have environmental laws that are virtually nonexistent or non-enforced, is it not always going to be pretty much cheaper for manufacturers to move their manufacturing to China or to other states that have similar low-wage, low enforcement, low environmental standards?
