I firmly support net neutrality that allows Americans to enjoy the lawful content on the internet and applications of their choosing. I would point out to my friend from Utah that the concerns about social media, and I share them, are not covered by this legislation. Those big platforms are completely exempt, as near as we can tell, so that is another area where I think we all share a common bond, that there is concern about what goes on in social media, things that aren't legal, things that are fake. I mean, you name it. Under title II, the FCC could police internet content, as it currently does with content broadcasts over television or radio.…”
