“I thank the gentleman for offering his amendment today, and I really do. We work a lot of with Mr. Gottheimer on a number of issues before the Congress, and I appreciate his commitment to this cause. Republicans fully support the goal of the amendment: to identify those diseases and conditions in which there is an unmet medical need and exploring ways to further incentivize getting treatments to market.
