as part of the agreement on the Purchaser Road Credit that has been struck, I understand that several Members who would otherwise have supported this amendment are been forced to vote against my amendment. And so although 40 editorials across the country is a good beginning in educating the public and the House on the taxpayer losses associated with the commercial program, it is my understanding that the gentleman from Illinois (Mr. Porter) and the gentleman from California (Mr. Miller) may revisit this issue next year. Mr. Chairman, I encourage the House to support fiscally and environmentally responsible forest management reform.
