Instead of wasting more time on a budget that is going nowhere, we should come together to address our failing bridges, roads, and water system. Our future demands it, our constituents expect no less. I strongly urge the rejection of the Republican budget if for no other reason than it freezes us in this decline for infrastructure and look forward to the day when we will work together to solve this problem.

I am assuming that both of you are very careful to make sure that you meet your tax obligations.
I can speak confidently for House Democrats when I say we are firmly committed to reauthorization of AGOA and HOPE before their expiration next year.
Either we continue to pursue things on a bilateral basis or take unilateral action when it comes to trade policies, or we invest in a system with other like-minded allies to address things like China's unfair trade practices.
I strongly support the WTO but, sadly, the limitations that have been mentioned are ones that challenge that optimism.
