I appreciate the admonition. That's why we've had a $3.4 billion increase in the national debt in the first six years of the Bush administration as opposed to a surplus, budget surplus from the Clinton administration, which I think the majority leader will be talking about. This is not a tax increase. The Federal Government will collect exactly the same taxation over the next 10 years under our proposal as under the Bush budget proposal right now. The difference is they're spending 23 million taxpayers' alternative minimum tax for the next 10 years. That's how they deal with the budget. We stop that.
