The text of the amendment is as follows: At the end of subtitle C of title I, insert the following new section: SEC. 123. MODIFICATION OF REQUIREMENT FOR CERTAIN NUMBER OF AIRCRAFT CARRIERS OF THE NAVY. (a) In General.--Section 5062(b) of title 10, United States Code, is amended by striking ``11'' and inserting ``10''. (b) Conforming Repeal.--Section 1023 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2010 (Public Law 111-84; 123 Stat. 2447) is repealed. The Acting CHAIR. Pursuant to House Resolution 260, the gentleman from Oregon (Mr. Blumenauer) and a Member opposed each will control 5 minutes. The Chair recognizes the gentleman from Oregon.
