What you would do is you’d go back to those existing roads that have been abandoned and you would cut the trees out of them and presto, you have your road back.

Mr. Chairman, this is an excellent bill, and we need it in Oregon. We have 30 million acres of trees. We absolutely need what this bill would provide.

Does the government have to support this effort? And the answer is yes.

People who lose their homes and wages due to wildfire should not be taxed on the funds they received as result of these disasters.
