Mr. President, I ask unanimous consent the Senate proceed to executive session for the purpose of consideration of Calendar No. 830, Judith Anne Smith, of the District of Columbia, to be an Associate Judge of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia; that the nomination be confirmed, the motions to reconsider be considered made and laid upon the table, no further motions be in order, the President be immediately notified of the Senate's action, and that any statements relating to the nominee be printed in the Record.
