After reviewing answers she gave to the Senate Judiciary Committee earlier this year, we believe that Judge Pearson's connections to the Animal Legal Defense Fund (ALDF) would make it hard for her to be an impartial judge in cases regarding actions by animal activists. ALDF is an activist organization involved in numerous federal lawsuits and advocates giving animals the same legal rights as humans.
