Mr. Speaker, I yield myself the balance of my time. Mr. Speaker, I wish to take a moment to thank the gentlewoman from Oregon (Ms. Bonamici) for all of her efforts to bring us to this point. We still have a ways to go ultimately, but great strides have been made. I thank my colleague from Oklahoma (Mr. Bridenstine) for his input and efforts and, of course, again, the chairman of the full Science, Space, and Technology Committee, Mr. Smith of Texas, for helping in that critical role of being the catalyst for all of this. From the perspective of a farmer, some will say: What does this really mean? But when it comes to trying to gauge how to plant your crops, how to harvest your crops, whether you are a truck driver driving up and down the highways and bi-ways of America, a citizen moving around the country, someone along the coast, or, as Ms. Bonamici pointed out, a fisherman, this information will make your life more efficient, it will make your life safer, and it will enhance the productive capacity of this country. This is one of those investments that we will all gain from. Mr. Speaker, I yield back the balance of my time.
