Everyone with a credit score of 680 or above, 19 out of 20 Americans is being hit by a higher fee since May 1 for their mortgages. It is a redistribution of credit scores, and that is even worse than an idea of redistribution of wealth, in a sense. Because you have responsible people who live within their means, might live just a little bit above paycheck to paycheck, save, scrape together, build up a downpayment, have a mortgage in place, and they are going to pay more now since May 1.
