“It is just such a ludicrous decision. It is almost incomprehensible. It is incomprehensible to me that every morning we can pray in this Chamber before we start business here; that we can have a visiting rabbi, a priest, a minister, people of many different religions who come in here and start in the People's House the first session every morning with prayer; that we can have on the wall in front of us right now, 'In God We Trust'; that we could have on our money, the currency that goes all around our country every day on behalf of our government and says 'In God We Trust,' yet it is somehow unconstitutional for the State of Ohio to have a very similar phrase, 'In God All Things Are Possible'; that that is unconstitutional. Mr. Speaker, I think that is just incomprehensible. It makes absolutely no sense. I certainly hope that the court's decision is overturned by the higher level in the court system.”
