Now, may not be the time, despite what the Biden Administration and any of my colleagues believe, to release drug traffickers and dealers back into our communities and neighborhoods.

The truth is the legal doctrine in question, substantive due process, is a much more checkered and murky past that abortion advocates would have you believe.

Every riot or act of violence or threat thereof taking place anywhere in this nation, whoever is responsible for it, is unconscionable and we on this side, Republicans, we reject it; we condemn it.

I urge all colleagues on both sides of the aisle to support the bill, and I yield back the balance of my time.
