I would also like to share in the gentleman's comments about our colleague, Howard Coble of North Carolina. He was truly a wonderful part of this distinguished institution. I served on the Judiciary Committee for the better part of 20 years with Howard Coble, and we all looked up to him. He was kind of one of a kind, and I say that in the most honorable way. He was one we looked to. He had a sense of humor that went to your heart. He was just a great guy. He will be truly missed not only by his constituents, but by this House that he loved for so many years. On my amendment, I have heard both the chairman and our friends on the minority side indicate they are willing to work with us on this amendment.
