I want to thank you for your service. I want to thank you for everything that you got us through, sequestration, the difficulties of the effects upon readiness, and seeing the advances that our adversaries have made in both missiles and fighters and cyber and unmanned aerial systems, and the need to then fashion a force that can face that in the future.

I think the president is- is certainly making a very good case as to how these provisions need to- to become law, and I think that they are ones that will ensure for the American public, you know, integrity in the- in voting.

Well, the President did not say that, and the President certainly has not given Congress any notice that that is going to occur.
One thing that we have to acknowledge is that our adversaries — Russia, China, North Korea, Iran — look at the critical infrastructure that support our civilian infrastructure, like water, ... as valid military targets
