We need some immigrants to come in here.

I no longer believe Ohio’s experience supports the deterrence argument that once shaped my position.

If you look at the growth in the state of Ohio in the last 10 years and that continued this last year, 60% of our growth in the state has come from immigrants.

When you look at this year’s state report cards and see what has been done in a relatively short amount of time, it is a tremendous accomplishment.
