Mike DeWine: “Restricting legal immigration is not a good idea.”

This is an historic win for Ohio.

The prolonged effect of capital litigation on victims’ families complicates broad claims that either an execution or a life sentence necessarily provides closure.

If you look at the growth in the state of Ohio in the last 10 years and that continued this last year, 60% of our growth in the state has come from immigrants.

They've filled jobs, repaired homes, paid taxes, started businesses and supported their families.
