The material previously referred to by Mr. Cline is as follows: At the end of the bill, add the following: (e) The Attorney General shall promulgate a regulation that shall, in the case of a background check conducted by the national instant criminal background check system established under section 103 of the Brady Handgun Violence Prevention Act in response to a contact from an importer, a manufacturer, or a dealer, licensed under chapter 44 of title 18, United States Code, which background check indicates that the receipt of a firearm by a person would violate section 922(g)(5) of title 18, United States Code, a requirement that the system notify U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
