The Congressman from South Carolina (Mr. Mulvaney) is exactly right. There is all kinds of misinformation about this Planned Parenthood debate. The biggest line is this: We are headed to a government shutdown. Are you kidding me? We are going to fund the government at the levels the Democrats agreed to, Republicans agreed to, the levels outlined in the Ryan- Murray plan. We are going to fund it. We are going to do one change, though, one simple, but important, change: Take the money from the organization engaged in the gruesome, horrific things that Planned Parenthood was caught doing and give it to organizations that weren't doing that and still meet women's health needs. That simple fact. The same levels, but move it from the bad organization to good organizations. It is that basic. That is what this debate is about, and that is what the American people want us to do. ____________________
