(b) Aliens Described.--An alien is described in this subsection if the alien-- (1) is inadmissible to the United States under section 212(a) of the Immigration and Nationality Act (8 U.S.C. 1182(a)); (2) was encountered by U.S. Customs and Border Protection on or after January 20, 2021; (3) was released by U.S. Customs and Border Protection after such encounter; and (4) is traveling by plane to a final destination in the United States. (c) Report.--Notwithstanding section 4(a)(1), and in accordance with subsection (a), the report required under section 4(a)(1) shall not be required to be submitted until the date that is 90 days after the effective date under subsection (a).
