Free and accessible child care doesn’t just make our city more affordable — it gives NYC parents time back to rest, recharge, or simply enjoy a night out.

This weekend, the team at OnPoint NYC kept their doors open 24/7 so vulnerable New Yorkers had somewhere safe to go.

It has been incredibly troubling to see the rise of a movement that is predicated on an exclusionary vision of any country, frankly, and so it is one that I find myself in deep opposition to.

I very much oppose these proposed changes, by the current Brooklyn Democratic Party chair. I oppose them because they are an attempt to circumnavigate the will of voters.
