I think last night what we saw was a reflection of the fact that working class Americans are tired of being told that their needs are unrealistic by politicians who have been bought by the wealthiest people across the country.

From day one, those with the most have attempted to use every legal avenue available to shield their wealth and avoid contributing more to our city.

I am heartbroken by the deaths, and I ask New Yorkers to take a moment to pray for the full recovery of those who were injured.

We have to use that power to deliver change that Americans can feel in their wallets
