I very much oppose these proposed changes, by the current Brooklyn Democratic Party chair. I oppose them because they are an attempt to circumnavigate the will of voters.

I think it shows you how deeply out of touch the Republican Party is with the concerns of working-class Americans.

Doing so would provide immediate protection while allowing families, employers and communities the certainty they need.
