Zohran Mamdani: “We will not normalize ICE’s viciousness.”

This is a primary concern that affects all of us already, and it’s just a question of how we respond to it, not if we should respond to it.

That is not something I will look to justify.

In solidarity with immigrant New Yorkers and in our shared commitment to the City we love, we ask that you do not rent, lend, or otherwise make your property available to ICE as a staging area for its enforcement operations.

The mayor will sign this bill, and the Mamdani administration is working every day to ensure we can do so while providing the strongest possible protections for the owners and workers in this industry.
