In the Ninth Congressional District of New York that I proudly represent just as recent as November 30 of 2018 the New York Attorney General Barbara Underwood announced that at least 200 sexual assault survivors were illegally sent bills from seven New York City hospitals requiring payments ranging from $46 to $3,000.
