Corporations that have profited from Black consumers, relied on Black workers, and amassed wealth in part from Black communities cannot look away while Black political power is dismantled in plain sight.

Silence in this moment is not neutrality — it is complicity.

The typical reason is the same as for most migrants, for work or a better life.

I believe that we as a Nation, particularly a Nation of immigrants, have an obligation to bring our immigration system into the 21st Century so that we can live up to the creed of our Nation.
