While artificial intelligence and cybersecurity will remain important elements defending the country, these are not just technological issues but critical civil and human rights issues as well.
We are here today because Republicans are demagoguing and exploiting the xenophobic and white supremacist ideologies that are fueling the immigration debate in this Nation.
I hope that my colleagues on the other side of the aisle are paying attention and will recognize that their fixation solely on threats coming over the Southwestern Border is dangerous.
