Today, the Court discards that democratic regime in favor of one that distorts the structure of Government to fit the majority’s theory of unitary, total executive control.

The President can’t restructure federal agencies inconsistently with congressional mandates.

When the Executive publicly announces its intent to break the law, and then executes on that promise, it is the Judiciary's duty to check that lawlessness, not expedite it.

In the end, to the Court, the facts do not matter, even though the consequences are serious.
