Thanks also to the subcommittee chairman, the gentleman from Texas (Mr. Smith), for his outstanding assistance in this matter. And let us not forget the fine staff of the Subcommittee on Immigration and Claims, and of the full committee, Jim Wilon in particular, for their excellent assistance. All these people have come together for a common reason, to make sure that we have an opportunity here in the House to express our desire to integrate Syrian Jews into American society and to achieve a measure of justice. With that, Mr. Speaker, I would ask for the passage of this bill.
