I think I need to share with the American public that their plan means 50 million Americans will go without health care coverage. I think that's an important distinction here. And also when we talk about their plan, to me it translates to higher costs, it translates to reduced consumer protections, and it also speaks to no regulations on an industry that has had record profit columns over the last couple of years. So I think our bill states very emphatically that we're about changing the course of direction. We're about putting individuals, families, doctors, in control of the health care outcome--not government, not insurance companies. So this effort to empower the insurance companies is not the solution America is looking for. It is not the solution. They are looking for a thoughtful, academic approach. The Democrats in this House have put forward a sound plan.
