H.R. 1413 creates a pilot program screening airport workers at seven airports. Screening passengers but giving workers open access is like installing a home security system but leaving the back door open. We know criminal activity has resulted from this loophole and we cannot take a chance that terrorists will exploit it. H.R. 1413 is a bipartisan approach to ensure security at our airports, and I urge my colleagues to support it.
