I would also like to say to our distinguished chairman that it would have been helpful in having an analysis of the current statistics and the future prospects at hearings. But we are bringing this bill to the floor. The majority is bringing this bill to the floor without any hearings, without any discussion. This is really not the way to pass important legislation. And, again, we had a bill. We could have had comprehensive immigration reform that passed the Senate in a bipartisan way.
