I realize there is a madness in this country and we have to work on doing something about the guns. These kids are going to school and worried about whether someone has a gun. This is madness. And so, as a grandmother and a mother, I feel it a personal obligation to represent all these families across America. Every once in a while in our congressional career we feel that there is an urgency to do something and do it now.
