Nita Lowey: “I am very pleased to yield 3 minutes to the gentlewoman from California (Ms. Lee), a senior member of the Appropriations…”

I am pleased to yield 1 minute to the gentlewoman from Washington (Ms. Schrier).

Congress has the unique opportunity to support the Administration in creating a new strategy that takes a long-term approach.

I am very pleased to yield 5 minutes to the distinguished gentleman from New Jersey (Mr. Pallone), the chairman of the Committee on Energy and Commerce, a member of my class in the Congress.

I urge this Subcommittee to continue its longstanding support for critical people-to-people and peacebuilding programming.
