Nita Lowey: “It is a pleasure for me to yield 2 minutes to Ranking Member Visclosky of the Defense Appropriations Committee.”

We cannot allow a return to a familiar and unstable status quo which repeatedly increases violence and animosity while rendering a final resolution of the conflict impossible.

I am delighted to yield 5 minutes to the gentlewoman from California (Ms. Waters), the chair of the Committee on Financial Services.

I am delighted to yield 1 minute to the gentlemen from Illinois (Mr. Garcia).

We must address this situation head-on.
