if we could harness some of the wind power this morning, we could solve our energy problem. If we could take the blame game and convert it to Btus, we would have energy to last for a long time. Mr. Speaker, we ought to bring in a lot of different people and put them under oath in front of the Committee on Resources, in front of our various oversight committees, and get the answer. I do not countenance any misconduct by anyone, but I will tell you what is interesting: when the Governor of California had a chance to put emergency generators online, he said, Oh, no. If those folks are not going to be union employees, I do not want to see those generators. When the Governor of California had a chance to work out these problems, he took $1 million from the same utility companies my friend from Oregon rails against. When the Governor of California had a chance to step forward and solve this problem, he went on Jay Leno. What is next, a Letterman appearance with stupid gubernatorial tricks? We have got real problems. Let us solve the problem. We can all yell and scream.
