Well, thank you very much. I just want to express my deep sense of sadness for the loss of a very dear friend, someone for whom I had a great deal of respect and admiration. I know that sense is not unique. It is shared and expressed by a great many of other people. Of course, the reasons for that are the interactions that he had with so many of the people. It is the involvement that he had and the way in which he provided leadership and direction for a great many. I felt a great sense of admiration for him, for the focus that he had on the work that he had to do and for the way in which he did it so very, very effectively. He served in the military, and was a great exemplary of strength, and honor, and courage, and he had done the same thing during his tenure here in the House of Representatives. He served with strength, and honor, and courage. He did a great many things for the district that he represented, a great many things for Pennsylvania, but also a great many things for many places across this country.
