Oh, for goodness sake, last week we passed a bill worth hundreds of billion of dollars with less than a two-day layover and no one knew what was in it.

We have artists in the city of Chester that have taken what we would call junk and turned it into treasure.

As our Nation continues to shift from an industrial manufacturing economy to one based on ideas and information, cities and States increasingly recognize that arts and culture are important economic assets.

We will do incalculable harm if we did not keep that going, and we are better people than that.
