Letitia James: “We are witnessing the fraying of our democracy, the erosion of our system of government.”

Across the country, states are already deep into preparations for the 2026 elections. Now, at the last moment, the federal government is attempting to meddle in those preparations and potentially threaten countless Americans’ right to vote.

Americans are facing increasing energy costs because this administration would rather pay off energy companies than let us build the new power sources we need.

Every New Yorker deserves to know that when they report a crime, it will be investigated fully and fairly. The Governor has entrusted my office with this investigation, and we do not take that responsibility lightly.
