I ask unanimous consent the reading of the amendment be dispensed with. The PRESIDING OFFICER. Without objection, it is so ordered. The amendment is as follows: (Purpose: To increase funding for the emergency conservation program and the emergency watershed protection program) On page 83, between lines 9 and 10, insert the following: Sec. __. (a) Notwithstanding any other provision of this Act-- (1) the amount provided under section 732 for the emergency conservation program for expenses resulting from a major disaster designation pursuant to the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act (42 U.S.C. 5122(2)) is increased by $48,700,000; and (2) the amount provided under section 732 for the emergency watershed protection program for expenses resulting from a major disaster designation pursuant to the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act (42 U.S.C. 5122(2)) is increased by $61,200,000. (b) The additional amounts provided under subsection (a)-- (1) are designated by Congress as being for disaster relief pursuant to section 251(b)(2)(D) of the Balanced Budget and Emergency Deficit Control Act of 1985 (2 U.S.C. 901(b)(2)(D)); (2) are subject to the same terms and conditions as any other amounts provided under section 732 for the same purposes; and (3) shall remain available until expended.
