I don't want our local ratepayers, who are already dealing with sky-high utility bills, to have to be burdened with the cost of basically subsidizing these huge massive centers.

The federal government has basically been dismantling all the protections that we've come to rely on to protect this core essence of our democracy.

We have to get them off the streets, get them into a hospital for evaluation, get them treatment, and put them into a long-term care plan which is exactly what my law requires.

This is state law now. There's the ability to, it's called involuntary commitment not to an institution, but to a health care facility that has to evaluate over a certain period of time.
