Kathy Hochul: “I want to see those reports on what consequences there are to States that are diverting it inappropriately.”

New York won’t be calling it that.

Don’t undermine our public safety efforts. Don’t defund the police who thwart terror attacks. Don’t play political games with people’s lives.

And to those suing us, those trying to block the implementation of this law who’ve tried before and failed, our law has already been upheld by the courts, but if you try me again, I say, bring it on.

No county executive should think that they are above the law in the state of New York.
