I am opposed to the bill in its current form. The SPEAKER pro tempore. The Clerk will report the motion to recommit: Ms. Hochul moves to recommit the bill H.R. 2112 to the Committee on Appropriations with instructions to report the same back to the House forthwith with the following amendment: Page 55, after line 23, insert the following: In addition, for carrying out section 4a of the Commodity Exchange Act (7 U.S.C. 6a), including establishing limits to diminish, eliminate, or prevent excessive speculation, and as authorized by section 12(d) of such Act (7 U.S.C. 16(d)), $11,800,000. Page 6, line 11, after the dollar amount, insert ``(reduced by $4,000,000)''. Page 27, line 11, after the dollar amount, insert ``(reduced by $3,800,000)''. Page 30, line 10, after the dollar amount, insert ``(reduced by $4,000,000)''. The SPEAKER pro tempore. The gentlewoman from New York is recognized for 5 minutes in support of her motion.
