We expect rain to bring some much-needed relief to New Yorkers experiencing poor air quality over the weekend.

This is state law now. There's the ability to, it's called involuntary commitment not to an institution, but to a health care facility that has to evaluate over a certain period of time.

They don't follow the law much at all. So again, trust but verify.

That appears to me on its face to be a violation of civil rights to cause that kind of physical harm to an individual regardless of what the offense may be.
