This tragedy hit home for one of our former colleagues, former Congressman Rick Nolan, who lost his daughter Katherine to lung cancer even though she did not smoke.

I have heard from Jewish and interfaith organizations that the present funding levels are clearly insufficient to meet the current needs.

I would encourage you to speak to your colleagues on your side of the aisle as to why they are preventing us from doing that, and because they are not getting vaccinated.

I am very proud of the workforce development efforts already underway at Stony Brook University and Farmingdale State College in my home State of New York.
